Alternative to Suspension
Public education does not meet the needs of every student since it requires students to comply to rules that may not allow for the development of the students' unique set of skills, talents, and abilities. We offer a curriculum that is customized to meet the unique learning and behavioral needs of students who have difficulty in traditional classrooms.
Academic Support
We support academic defiencies by providing students with the academic supports they need to close the gap in academic deficiencies that often lead to suspensions due to academic frustration.
Mentoring
We offer individual and group mentoring that uses 'no nonsense' approaches that help students develop a mindset of responsibility and accountability for actions and decisions.
Moms Demand Action
Moms Demand Action is a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence. We are the Southeast Illinois chapter of Mom's Demand Action to quell problems that start at school but end as street violence.
